Slow Travel
One of your biggest criteria when travelling is to avoid racing against the time. You are a "slow travel" lover. In other words, you love to take the time to savour each stop as much as possible, even if this means skipping certain regions.
By staying for example 3 nights in Golden Bay, you can discover both the incredible Farewell Spit, a fantastic sand spit isolated from the rest of the world; and the northern part of Abel Tasman Park, which is also the most beautiful.
Another example, for seaside atmospheres, we recommend staying in the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula rather than driving countless hours to reach the Bay of Islands, you will enjoy the same types of landscapes.
Does this sound like an experience you would like?
