Explore our different regions
A large territory of almost 2,000 km from North to South, New Zealand is an incredible mosaic of atmospheres and landscapes. The North Island is renowned for its beaches and exceptional coastline, cities, geothermal features and volcanoes. The South Island is famous for displaying untamed wilderness, including mountains and lakes, native forest and turquoise-blue rivers, fjords and glaciers, not to mention a rich endemic wildlife. From the beaches of Coromandel to the glaciers of Mt Cook National Park, to the shores of Great Barrier and Stewart Islands, we invite you to discover these regions, whether you’re attracted by their iconic sites or their hidden treasures.
