Romain was incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the trip, being punctual with bookings and with answering all questions. Although my brother and I know we wanted to Journey across NZ, we didn't know exactly where to start. We had 5 weeks and we wanted to see as much as possible without rushing through the beautiful country. We wanted a unique experience and OUAT worked with us to create our perfect adventure. Romain's advice and recommendations were spot on. Not only that, but as our trip hit a few mishaps as journeys do, Romain was there to save the day. Rebooking was necessary because of weather and we wanted to extend our stay in several locations, all of this went seamlessly with OUAT and Romain. A glorious journey it was.

Carolyn, We would like thank you for all the arrangement for a trip in NZ. We had a busy, fun and wonderful time there. Besides all activities arranged in the trip, we managed to kitesurf in Auckland and Rotorua, we hiked up to the top of waterfall Wairere on the way to Paeroa, mountain biked the whole day in Whakarewarewa Forest - Rotorua and went bungy jumping in Taupo. We hope to come back visiting bottom half of north island and the south island soon. Thanks again!!

Booking through OUAT was very straightforward. You accommodated our requests and made sensible suggestions to our busy itinerary to make sure that we got the most out of our holiday. Everything went smoothly and we were really impressed with the quality of the accommodation, bearing in mind we had asked for B&B level for the majority of the nights. NZ is an amazing country and we loved our trip. Hopefully we will get chance to go back one day.

Thanks for your arrangements for our trip to New Zealand, Carolyn. What a fabulous place and great people! The b&bs were terrific, particularly Carol and Craig in Lake Tekapo. The Hippo Lodge was delightful. Kayaking the Marine Reserve at Abel Tasman was a real highlight. In Kaikoura (my favorite town) we saw a sperm whale and a pod of a few hundred dusky dolphins. Other notable experiences were stargazing at the Mt John observatory in Tekapo, the Hooker Valley hike near Mt Cook, the Greycliffs, Fergburgers in Queenstown, beach sunset at Punakaiki, and sunrise at the Barn in Marahau. Again, we really appreciate you efforts to make our trip so enjoyable.

In Feb to March this year, we had a wonderful month touring in NZ and all with the help of Romain at OUAT. It did all feel a bit like a leap of faith, but OUAT helped us plan a fantastic trip and I would not hesitate to recommend them. We considered trying to organise the entire trip ourselves assuming this would be cheaper but in fact the events and accommodation cost the same either way and having OUAT organise it gives (in my view) better accommodation, less hassle and all costs covered by a single payment. The very great benefit of using OUAT was their first-hand knowledge of the B&Bs and activities companies – everywhere we stayed was unique and interesting.
